    Come and grow with us.

Blossom and Bloom is a small mobile speech pathology practice working with families right across Perth. We are growing carefully, one clinician at a time, and we would rather wait for the right person than fill a seat.

If you are a Speech Pathologist who likes being out in the real world with families, we would love to hear from you.

    Why here

What the job is actually like.

The parts of this job that usually get left off an ad, written down honestly.

An hour that is actually an hour

Every booking runs a full hour: 45 minutes with the child, then 15 minutes for notes, planning, and follow-up. Your admin time sits inside the session, not on top of your evening.

    The same therapist, every session

Families stay with one clinician. You get to build the relationship, set the goals, and then actually see them met, rather than picking up someone else's caseload each week.

Out where the child actually talks

Homes, schools, daycares, and telehealth across Perth. Therapy happens in the rooms and routines a child lives in, which is where the carryover comes from.

Small enough that you have a say

Blossom and Bloom is founder-led and deliberately small. If you think something should be done differently, you say it to Lara and you get an answer.

    Who you would work with

A team of two, and room for one more.

You would not be a number here. This is the whole clinical team.

    The fit

    Who we are looking for.

We care more about how you are with a family on a hard day than about the number of years on your resume. If most of this sounds like you, get in touch.

Hours, rate, and whether the role would suit a new graduate are all things Lara will talk through with you directly. Ask, and you will get a straight answer.

    • ✓Qualified in speech pathology and eligible for Speech Pathology Australia membership.
    • ✓Happy working out of a car boot and a family's lounge room rather than a clinic room.
    • ✓Sees coaching parents as the core of the work, not an extra at the end of the session.
    • ✓Neuro-affirming and trauma-informed in practice, not only in language.
    • ✓Organised enough to keep goals, notes, and reports moving without being chased.
    How to apply
